2026 Nurse Innovation Award

The ANAMASS Nurse Innovation Award is to recognize a nurse(s) contribution(s) to the advancement of the nursing profession, patient care, or improvement of the work environment through innovation. The innovation must have been initiated by a nurse(s) or is a nurse led/co-led team with nurses involved in the conception, development, implementation, & evaluation.

A successful applicant will describe the nurse(s) involved; the identified problem or need; product, program, or practice that is unique, novel, or creative; and how the innovation changed practice, impacted patient outcome, or the work environment.

The Nominee for this Award may self-nominate or be nominated by a colleague. ANA membership is not required for this award, but the nominator must be an ANA Massachusetts member.

This Award is presented each year at the ANAMASS Awards/FNAMA Scholarship Gala held in early spring. Award recipients are asked to serve on the selection committee for the following year’s awards.
