Living Legends in Massachusetts Nursing Award
The ANAMASS Living Legends in Massachusetts Nursing Award recognizes nurses who have made significant lifetime contributions to the profession of nursing on a state (Massachusetts), national and/or international level.

Candidates for this award should be nominated by a colleague (self-nomination is not permitted). ANAMASS Membership is not required.

Living Legends in Massachusetts Nursing Awards are presented each year at the ANAMASS/FNAMA Awards & Scholarships Gala. Award recipients are asked to serve on the selection committee for the following year’s awards.

NOMINATOR Eligibility Criteria*

	All are Required
Must be a member of ANA Massachusetts (self-nomination is not permitted).
Must submit application, and describe the nominee’s significant lifetime contributions to the profession ofnursing on a state (Massachusetts), national or international level (see below)
Must obtain and upload one additional letter of recommendation.

Is currently or has been a past member of ANA Massachusetts (formerly MARN) or member of the Massachusetts Nurses Association (MNA) when it served as the American Nurses Association (ANA) state affiliate.
Has made significant contributions to the profession of nursing on a state, national and/or international level.
Has inspired other nurses by virtue of such contributions.
Has exhibited creativity and innovation.
Has blazed trails for future nurses.
