Why You Hate Survivors - Course Registration

Thank you for registering for Why You Hate Survivors! 

 

We offer this course on a sliding-scale to support those for whom cost is a barrier. Please treat the sliding-scale with respect: if you can afford more, pay more.

We have a two part sliding-scale: one is for those in solidarity with survivors and the other is for survivors*. 

TIP: If you are a survivor with more resources, feel free to choose the Solidarity Sliding-Scale!

 

Solidarity Sliding-Scale: 

• Balance Tier: for those with more resource or privilege (e.g., mental health professionals) - £700
• Community Tier: for those who support survivors (e.g., caregivers, community members) - £450
• Reparations Tier: for Black & Brown allies and supporters only - £200
   

Survivor* Sliding-Scale:

• Balance Survivor Tier: for survivors with more resource or privilege (e.g., based in the Global North) - £150
• Reparations Survivor Tier: for Black & Brown survivors only - £100
• Global South Survivor Tier: for survivors in the Global South only - £50

(*We know that the term ‘survivor' may not resonate with everyone - we respect and honour the language that people who have experienced abuse feel best represents their experiences. We use the term ‘survivor’ as a politicised umbrella to describe anyone, irrespective of age or gender, who is or has experienced abuse. You are completely welcome to join us and use this sliding-scale if you exist under this umbrella, including if you don’t use the term ‘survivor'.) 

 

Payment Terms:

• For flexibility and accessibility, payments and payment plans are self-managed. You must complete the full payment, at a frequnecy and to a deadline that works for you, before 9am GMT on 1st November 2025 for your registration to be complete and valid.
   

• In order to submit the form, you must make a payment. If you are paying in full, you can complete your payment on this form.
  
  If you're using a payment plan, you can pay your deposit (minimum £50). Payment plans are not available to those on the lowest tier. 
  
  

• You must choose the sliding-scale option that is most appropriate to you and your financial situation. Anyone who chooses to exploit the sliding-scale (i.e., white people signing up at the tiers designated for Black and brown people) will be removed from the course.
  
  

• We reserve the right to remove anyone from the course for disrepectful and/or unsafe behaviour. 
  
  

• We do not offer refunds. All payments are final.
