Excellence in Nursing Education Award

The ANAMASS Excellence in Nursing Education Award is for a nurse educator who demonstrates excellence in nursing education.

The Nominee for this Award may self-nominate or be nominated by a colleague. ANA membership is not required for this award, but the nominator must be an ANA Massachusetts member.

This Award is presented each year at the ANAMASS Awards/FNAMA Scholarship Gala held in early spring. Award recipients are asked to serve on the selection committee for the following year’s awards.

If self-nominated, you must be a member of ANA Massachusetts for at least a year (12 months).
If not a member of ANA Massachusetts, must be nominated by an ANAMASS member.
Is a faculty member in an academic setting or a clinical educator.
Uses innovative approaches to teaching based on the learning needs of the learner.
Facilitates learning and professional development.
Has NOT been a recipient of an ANAMASS Award/FNAMA Scholarship in the past two years
