Art Submission Guidelines

We welcome submissions from people with all levels of art ability, whether you're an artist or not. Please note that all submissions are on a voluntary basis, and we won't be able to offer commissions for artwork. We truly appreciate the time, creativity, and effort that artists contribute to this project.

You may submit your artwork in one of the following ways:

1. Online, using this form
2. In person, at one of our participating shops
3. By mail, to the Ben & Jerry’s Connecticut main office

Please see the details below for all three submission methods.

Please do not submit artwork that includes depictions of violence, sexually explicit content, or other material that may be considered inappropriate for all ages. Artists may submit previously completed works or create new pieces specifically for the gallery.

When submitting your work, be sure to include the title of your piece. By submitting, you are agreeing to have your artwork displayed in our fall gallery exhibition.

All participating artists are warmly invited to attend the gallery event, though attendance is not required. If you’d like to receive updates and event details, please provide your email address below.

By submitting your artwork to Roots & Routes, you acknowledge & accept these terms:

• You give permission for your artwork to be displayed publicly in the gallery and used in promotional materials (e.g., photos, videos, social media). 
• By submitting, you confirm you are the creator and owner of the artwork.
• While we will take reasonable care of all submitted work, the gallery is not liable for any damage, theft, or loss.
• You agree to hold your artwork and its affiliates harmless from any claims related to your submission.

If you plan to drop off your art in person at a Ben & Jerry’s location, please visit one of the participating shops listed below. Each location will have a clearly marked drop-off spot where you can leave your art, no direct hand-off required. Just look for the sign inside the shop indicating where to leave it.

Please either title your art, or leave a note with the title/name of the art when dropping off.

If you require postage to be covered, please indicate below. Kindly note that in order for us to provide postage coverage, you will need to provide some personal information. This information will be used solely for the purpose of covering postage costs. If you prefer to remain anonymous, we recommend submitting your artwork through one of the alternative options.

When mailing art, please title the art piece yourself, or provide a note with the title with the art.
