Application Deadlines
JUC members/pledging friends receive preference until October 20, 2025. The deadline for all applications is November 10. Applications will be accepted until all spaces have been filled, so get your application in early, even if you are not a JUC member or pledging friend.
Table Cost
Table and space fees are:
card table space |
$25 |
6 ft space |
$50 |
12 ft spaces |
$100 |
The fee includes the table(s) or table space, electricity, and chairs—two tables maximum per vendor.
Crafts
All crafts are acceptable, original, and resale, and we have found reasonably priced items sell well. We particularly encourage new craftspeople to participate. There is no jury and thus no jury fee. Please note the following restrictions:
- No sales of food ready to be eaten. Sealed foods such as jams, spices, and herbs are OK.
- No sale of flea market or used objects. All goods sold must be new.
- No sale of marijuana or marijuana-type products.
- No playing of music unless through headphones that only the potential buyer can hear.
- We reserve the right to refuse any craft or craft type.
Set-up and Tear-down
The JUC Holiday Craft Faire staff will be at church beginning at 3pm on Thursday, December 4th, to show you your assigned table so you can set up. If you need electricity, you may want to bring an extension cord since some table spaces may be 6 to 8 feet from the outlet. You will also need to provide a table covering. All crafters must arrive to set up by 7pm on Thursday, or your table space will be given to a crafter on the waiting list. If you are arriving after 7pm, please call Nancy Bolt at 303 905 9347 or Chris Sealy at 303 587 3234. You may finalize set-up on Friday morning, but no set-up is allowed on Friday, December 5th. Take down of your booth cannot begin until 4 p.m. on Saturday and must be completed by 6 p.m.
Publicity
The Church will publicize the Craft Faire heavily among church members with articles or a flyer in every church newsletter and listing in the Sunday Service program. A banner will be placed in front of the church. Flyers will be posted in businesses in the Applewood area and on street corners around the church.
Table staffing
Since vendors are now taking their own payments you will need to staff your table at all times of the show. If you need a break or assistance there will be volunteers to help but only for breaks and not for long periods of time.
Food
Lunch will be available for purchase on Friday and Saturday. There will be no reception on Friday evening.
Payment
Payment for all items must be accepted by vendors. The church will no longer be collecting payments exception being the bake sale table. Please request assistance with this if needed.
Donation: Please mail or drop off your 15% donation of your sales no more than 2 weeks after the event. Since JUC is no longer taking payments, we have raised table prices a bit and are asking for you to donate 15% of your sales after the show so we can continue the great work of JUC and this show going forward. After the show, please send a check for 15% of your sales to:Jefferson Unitarian Church 14350 W 32nd Ave, Golden, CO 80401 or email carol@jeffersonunitarian.org for alternate payment options. Please put "Craft Faire" in the notes of your check.
Taxes
The church does not collect sales tax. You are responsible as the crafter to price your product to include any taxes you wish to charge. If you want to track sales for tax purposes, you may do so independently.
Security and Liability
Someone will be in the craft sale area at all times the tables are set up except overnight when the church is locked. In the past, there have been minor theft of craft items. However, the church cannot accept any liability for any losses.
