• Accuracy of Information:

  I understand that the information I am providing will be used to prepare an amended tax return. I confirm that all documents and details I have submitted are true, complete, and accurate to the best of my knowledge.

• Processing Timeline:
  I acknowledge that amended returns are processed directly by the IRS and may take up to 16 weeks or longer to be reviewed, accepted, and updated in their system. This timeframe is outside the control of my tax preparer.
• Refund or Balance Due Changes:
  I understand that filing an amended return may result in a smaller refund, a delayed refund, or a balance due to the IRS or state agency. I accept full responsibility for any taxes owed or additional payments that may result from the changes made.
• No Guarantee of Outcome:
  I understand that my tax preparer cannot guarantee approval of the amendment or any specific outcome, including refund amounts or IRS acceptance. All amendments are subject to IRS review.
• Amendment Fee Policy:
  I acknowledge that there is a non-refundable fee for preparing and submitting my amended return. This fee is charged for the time, research, and preparation involved and is due before submission, regardless of the outcome.
• Responsibility for Payment: I understand that I am responsible for paying any amounts owed to the IRS or state, including penalties and interest, that may result from this amendment.
  Communication Agreement:
• I give my permission to be contacted via email, phone, or text message regarding updates on my amendment or requests for additional documentation.
