DOT&PF is conducting this survey to strengthen its tribal consultation practices by seeking direct input from Alaska Native communities. This effort aims to improve how consultation is conducted, identify barriers in the current framework, align with federal and state requirements, and establish shared principles for effective and culturally respectful engagement.
