                Meet many meet select artists from the Jewish Community Foundation Orange County Weissman Arts 2025 OC Jewish Street Art mural campaign—including Hillel Smith, Adam Podber, Alexander Golob, and Sheina Yarmush. Join us in a nontraditional panel talk designed in a lightning-round format. Anne Hromadka Greenwald, curator at the Jewish Community Foundation Orange County, will act as moderator. Each artist will answer quickly and concisely. Learn the behind-the-scenes of  bringing this mural campaign to life.

Led by a dynamic student instructor and her teammate, this beginner-friendly class will introduce foundational hip-hop moves in a fun, supportive environment. Each session can accommodate up to 25–30 kids. Parents and guardians are welcome to stay and watch, but participation is optional. These are not drop-off classes.                 Aimed at 16+  - Discover how street art is bringing beauty and hope to communities in crisis. Join us for an engaging and interactive session as Craig Dershowitz, founder of Art Over Hate (formerly known as Artists 4 Israel), takes us behind the scenes of ten powerful murals created throughout Israel. Learn about the communities they were painted in, the stories behind each work, and the artists’ intentions. At the end of the presentation, the audience will vote on their favorite mural—and we’ll rank the works together in real time. Ideal for teen and adult audiences.

                Sheina Yarmush, a los Angeles based artist has been providing paint parties for her community for over a decade. She started as a caricature artist, 20 years ago in Brooklyn and now paints special commission artwork as well as murals accross the states. Her exquisite 3-dimensional art were displayed 4 times in LA Fashion Week including a glow Jerusalem and a glow Lubavitch Rebbe. She proudly displays her Jewish identity and has gotten the tremendous positive feedback when she transforms antisemitic graffiti into Jewish pride art. Join us upstairs in the art studio for this lively session.

                “Marking Memory: A Jewish Tribal Ritual of Identity & Connection”

                Join artist and ritual guide Amir Magal for a dynamic, hands-on experience exploring the Jewish tradition of symbolic remembrance and embodiment. Through the art of Tribal Marking, participants will learn the meanings behind ancient Hebrew letters and sacred symbols, and use skin-safe, ceremonial markers to mark each other in a guided ritual of identity, blessing, and connection. Amir will share a brief history of body marking in Indigenous and Jewish cultures, guide a partner-based marking practice, and offer reflective prompts to awaken stories of lineage, intention, and personal expression. Families (intergenerational bonding)

His work with Tribal Markers revives ancestral traditions of marking the body—not as decoration, but as declaration. Using skin-safe, handcrafted markers, Amir facilitates immersive workshops where participants connect more deeply with self, community, and story. Through his Jewish lineage and global travels, Amir weaves Hebrew symbolism, ancestral wisdom, and spiritual embodiment into every experience. His sessions have been shared at synagogues, JCCs, retreats, and with families around the world.

                Join LA-based multi-media artist Shlome J Hayun for a live painting session full of color, creativity, and conversation. Known for his vibrant pop art, expressive abstracts, and contemporary Judaica, Shlome brings dynamic energy and deep cultural roots to every piece he creates. During this interactive two-hour session, Shlome will paint live, talk through his creative process, and invite kids (and curious adults) to join in using pre-cut stencils and materials. No experience needed—just a love for art and a willingness to experiment. Drop in, get inspired, and be part of the process.
