Procell Microchanneling is a cosmetic skin rejuvenation procedure that stimulates the body's natural production of collagen and elastin through controlled micro-injuries to the skin. A specialized device creates thousands of tiny channels in the skin, followed by application of a growth factor serum derived from human stem cell technology. This treatment is safe for most skin types and is typically performed in a series of 3-6 sessions, spaced 4-6 weeks apart for optimal results.

- What to Expect
  
  This treatment is elective and cosmetic in nature. While many clients experience improvement in skin texture, firmness, and tone, individual results vary based on skin type, age, medical history, and adherence to post-treatment instructions. No guarantee of results has been made, and multiple sessions may be needed for desired outcomes.
- - Results will vary depending on your age, skin condition, and overall health.
  - Mild redness, tightness, warmth, or tenderness is common and may last 1–3 days.
  - Slight peeling, dryness, or flaking may occur as the skin regenerates.
  - Post-care compliance is essential for healing and best results.
  - Maximum improvement is seen after multiple sessions.
  Though Procell Microchanneling is considered safe with low risk, possible side effects may include:
  - Temporary redness or swelling (typically lasting 1–3 days)
  - Discomfort similar to a mild sunburn
  - Mild flaking or scabbing
  - Temporary hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation
  - Infection (rare, typically due to improper aftercare)
  - Activation of cold sores or herpes in individuals prone to outbreaks
  What to expect at the time of your appointment:
  - I will Sterilize the skin properly with alcohol.
  - The Microchanneling therapy will be performed with Stem cell serum.
  - You will Relax under red light for 20 minutes.
  - I will Apply a cooling mask for 10 minutes.

- How to prepare for your appointment:
  
  Prepare your skin before the appointment by arriving with a clean and washed face without makeup and without facial hair (clean shaven). Do not apply any products to your face before the appointment to avoid contraindications.
- Please note: I am not a medical professional and do not provide medical advice. The following are general recommendations based on common client experiences and industry guidelines:
  - If you have frequent episodes of cold sores, taking acyclovir or valcyclovir starting one day prior to your microchanneling will reduce the likelihood of a recurrence due to your treatment.
  - Discontinue retinol (2% or higher) or tretinoin at least 3 days prior to treatment.
  - If your liver, kidneys and immune system are healthy, taking an NSAID such as Ibuprofen before treatment may reduce your discomfort.
  - If you are being treated for hair loss, Please do not apply sprays or gels to your hair prior to your treatment.
  Always consult your physician before starting or stopping any medications or if you have any concerns regarding treatment prep.

- Post Treatment Recommendations:
  
  A few things to remember after your treatment while those micro-channels remain:
- DO NOT apply anything to treated areas for 90 minutes after your treatment is finished unless it is provided to you by your certified ProCell provider with instructions.
  
  DO NOT touch treated areas with your hands, cellphone or any other foreign objects for 90 minutes after your treatment is finished! Irritations from these sources can cause allergic reaction or possible acne breakout.
  
  AVOID direct sunlight for 24 hours post treatment. You can apply sunscreen 90 minutes after your treatment is finished.
  
  Hydrate and moisturize your skin constantly to achieve the best results!
  
  Never let your skin dry out! If you experience excessive dryness in the days or weeks following your treatment, you can purchase additional post-treatment hydrating masks through your certified ProCell Provider. Water is the least expensive and most powerful advantage you can add to your daily skin care routine.
  
  Post care cellular renewal and healing accelerator serum can be purchased to enhance results.
  
  - Apply twice daily at home to enhance results. Start the morning after treatment.- Throughouly cleanse treated areas and apply Cellular Renewal Serum (Step 1).
  - Wait 30 seconds and apply Healing Accelerator Serum (Step 2)
  -Wait for serums to fully absorb before applying any other product to treated areas. Requires direct contact with skin to be effective.
  
  THINGS YOUR SKIN MAY BE FEELING THAT ARE SIGNS THE TREATMENT IS WORKING!
  
  Tightness, Itchiness, warmth, sensitivity, general light sunburn appearance to skin, redness etc…… These are all great indications that your skin is healing and producing youthful collagen!

  Although the results are usually dramatic, the practice of esthetics is not an exact science and that no guarantee can be or have been made concerning expected results.

- Contraindications
  
  While Microchanneling treatments are safe and effective for most men and women there are some people who will not be good candidates for treatments. Here is a general contraindications:
- - Pregnancy - If you are pregnant or nursing you are advised not to receive Microchanneling treatments. To date ther have been no studies conducted to see what effects these treatments may have on an unborn child, but as a general rule, pregnant women should stay away from any time of cosmetic/elective procedures.
  - Diabetes - Unstable diabetes patients should not be treated due to healing problems.
  - Active Herpes Simplex in the treatment area - Treatment is possible once the outbreak is healed, however it may be advisable to take prescription antiviral medication to keep this condition in remission during the treatment series.
  - Dry Skin - If your skin is overly dry, you will need to start moisturizing and ensure the condition is under control prior to undergoing any treatment.

I understand the importance of wearing SPF 45+ daily and avoiding sun exposure—especially between 10am and 2pm—to prevent sunburn, skin damage, and hyperpigmentation.
