Come join us this August for a heartwarming session where Wan from WAN’s Ubin Journal will share his mum’s recipe for making papaya and clam coconut stew. 🥥 This is his way of passing down the memories handed from his grandmother to his mother, and now to him.He’ll be sharing how his mum used to forage for clams at the sandbars of Chek Jawa with her sisters — then return home to get her mother to cook this stew over firewood, using ingredients straight from their backyard.
