Curious about camping but not sure where to start? Join us for a beginner-friendly overnight at the beautiful Powell Gardens in Kingsville, MO. This hands-on experience is designed to help you build confidence and learn the basics of outdoor overnight stays in a safe, welcoming environment. Bring your own tent and gear, along with any food you'd like to cook over the campfire. We'll cover fundamentals like how to set up camp, fire safety, outdoor cooking tips, and staying comfortable outside. Whether you're brand new to camping or just need a little refresher, this is a great opportunity to spend a night under the stars and connect with others who are also learning! Come with questions, curiosity, and a sense of adventure—we’ll take care of the rest. This event is open to women aged 18+ and families (minors must be accompanied by adult).

I waive all claims that I might have based on any of those and other risks typical in this type of activity. I authorize any such staff/volunteers to assist me (or my child/ward) and/or to provide such assistance as, in the opinion of such person may be necessary or appropriate. I understand that wildHERness nor any of its supporting sponsors or volunteers, assume any responsibility or liability with respect to my (or my child/ward) participation in this event/program. I agree and hereby waive (on behalf of myself and my child/ward) all claims against, and agree to fully release, hold harmless, and indemnify wildHERness, all sponsors, representatives (including staff/volunteers), and independent contractors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of myparticipation (or my child/ward's participation) in this event/program, even though liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. By indicating your acceptance, you understand, agree, warrant and covenant for yourself and, if applicable, for your minor child/ward, as follows (if the participant is under 18 years of age, the parent/guardian must sign).
