Our mission is to positively impact our community by helping individuals and families experience renewed hope and greater self-sufficiency. We seek to provide practical support, encouragement, and resources that help people overcome challenges and move toward lasting transformation.
The Abundant Grace Ministries General Educational Development (GED) program exists to help improve the quality of life for those in need while pointing people to the hope and grace we find in God. In addition to GED instruction, we strive to provide encouragement, accountability, and support throughout the learning process.
Semester Classes are offered once per week for 16 weeks. There is a small course fee for each class taken, which helps cover the cost of books, study materials, and facilities.
Prior to the start of class, all students must complete this general application. Although not required, we also strongly recommend that students meet with our intake counselor prior to the start of class and complete an assessment exam. Student can register here for classes.
To steward resources wisely and serve students effectively, all applicants must complete an application process. After submitting this form, applicants may be invited to participate in an in-person meeting and assessment exam with our intake counselor.
Because class space and instructional resources are limited, continued participation requires consistent attendance, effort, and respectful conduct. In some cases, the GED teachers and director may determine that a student should pause participation in the program. If this occurs, the student will be notified respectfully, and future participation will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
