At least ONE photo, per sheep, is REQUIRED - Upload your head shot / ear tag / height photos below. Both can be combined in a single photo if you can meet the requirements for the height photos and the head shot / ear tag photo.
HEAD SHOT / EAR TAG PHOTOS
If you cannot see AND read the entire scrapie ID number (Ex. KY1234-0001), then we cannot either and you will have to take and submit new photos. The preview is the size it will be when printed by us.
The photo (think of a front facing mugshot) must show the mouth, nose leather, both eyes, both ears, and the scrapie tag attached to the sheeps ear with both the flock & animal ID numbers readable.
There are head shot / ear tag examples on our website for you to look at.
HEIGHT PHOTOS
We must be able to clearly see the entire sheep and your measuring setup. In the photo we need to see the sheep standing on level ground with the horizontal and vertical yardsticks or your measuring tools in place. If necessary, more than one photo can be submitted but it must be clear it is the same sheep in all the photos.
The sheep's official height measurement is taken at the withers with the horizontal measuring tool at skin level. Push it down if the sheep is not sheared. (Withers is the highest ridge of the spine between the shoulder blades.)
We need to be able to see the sheep is over 18" and under 24" on your actual measuring tool.
Do not forget to include your payment for uploading images. Electronic Photo Submission, $0.25 per photo.
Please upload landscape photos. (width is longer than the height).
Jotform only allows JPG, JPEG, PNG, & GIF to be uploaded. NO HEIC, Apple/Mac users, you'll need to convert your images.
You must mail the ORIGINAL CoR to the registrar's office for the ear tag update to be processed.
