June 2026 Escarpment Art Tour Application

The Escarpment Artists conduct a compact Studio Art Tour every June in 5-7 host studio locations in Carlisle, Kilbride and up to Rockwood. There is a core group of artists on the tour each year, but we like to in vote a variety of new artists to the tour each year to attract new attendees, through a curated process.

Our next Escarpment Art Tour is June 13 & 14, 2026. Application deadline for that tour is January 15, 2026. Final decisions of our curation team will be made by January 30, 2026 and all applicants will be notified within a week of the final decision on new participants.

All artists who have been on previous tours will also have to submit an application with 3 photographs of new artwork.

Each applicant will supply 3 high resolution photographs (jpg or png format, min size 300kb/max size 10mb) of their work. New successful applicants will also have to supply a bio and headshot for our website, along with up to 5 more photos of their work within 2 weeks of acceptance on the tour, for your bio page.

All participants, new and returning, will pay a fee of $75 to be in the tour. This fee covers such things as publicity and signage. Participants must agree to be set up by 10am on the Saturday and be present at the Tour for the entire time the Tour is open, from 10-5 both days. No takedown is permitted until 5pm on the Sunday of the Tour.

Participants will supply their own 10'x10' booth, with sides, to be prepared for inclement weather. There will not be a rain date. Your booth space cannot be shared or sublet to another artist.
