Thank you for your interest in joining the Wildlife Jewels® Rescue Crew. This form is required for those who wish to participate in wildlife rescue and transport efforts. Your safety and the animals’ well-being are top priorities.

To join the Rescue Crew as a wildlife handler, attendance at our training sessions is required. Training times will be scheduled based on volunteers’ availability. After completing training, volunteers respond to rescue calls as needed and as their personal schedules allow. There is no minimum number of hours required to participate.

Wildlife Jewels® Rescue Crew Volunteer Waiver of Liability(For Volunteers 18 and Older)

By signing below, I agree to the following terms:

Volunteer Role
I acknowledge that I am volunteering my time with the Wildlife Jewels® Rescue Crew. This is a non-paid, voluntary role. I understand I am not an agent or employee of Wildlife Jewels®. I agree not to engage in any wildlife handling or transport activities until I have received the necessary training and approval.

Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation in rescue, transport, and monitoring of wildlife may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- Bites, scratches, or zoonotic disease exposure from animals
- Handling distressed, injured, or unpredictable wildlife
- Exposure to sharp objects, marine debris, environmental hazards
- Navigating through rough terrain, roadways, or inclement weather
- Emotional stress from witnessing wildlife injuries or fatalities
I confirm that I am physically and emotionally capable of participating and that I voluntarily assume all such risks.

Liability Release
In consideration of being permitted to participate in Wildlife Jewels® volunteer activities, I hereby release and hold harmless Wildlife Jewels®, its officers, directors, affiliates, staff, and fellow volunteers from any and all liability, claims, or demands related to personal injury, illness, property damage, or death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, during my volunteer involvement.

I understand Wildlife Jewels® does not provide health, accident, or liability insurance for volunteers and that I am personally responsible for my own coverage and well-being.

Volunteer Responsibilities
I agree to:
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
- Perform only tasks I am trained and authorized to do
- Not handle wildlife without prior training or instruction
- Avoid confrontation with the public during rescue or monitoring
- Report all wildlife observations or rescues through the proper Wildlife Jewels® channels
- Treat all animals and humans with respect and care
Media Consent
I grant Wildlife Jewels® the right to use photos, videos, or written materials I provide for educational, promotional, or outreach purposes. I consent to the use of my likeness in materials supporting Wildlife Jewels®’ mission.

Acknowledgement
I confirm that I have read, understand, and voluntarily agree to all the terms outlined above. I accept full responsibility for my participation and release Wildlife Jewels® from liability as described.
I have read, understood, and agree to the Terms & Conditions outlined in this Volunteer Agreement Form.
