We're so glad you're here. This agreement outlines how we work together to give your pieces the best possible home — and the best possible return. By signing below, you're agreeing to the terms of your consignment with Loom Vintage.
1. Item Submission, Evaluation & Intake
We carefully select items that fit the Loom aesthetic — things we genuinely believe we can sell well. All consigned items must be clean, in good condition, and suitable for resale. We reserve the right to decline any item that isn't the right fit, and will let you know at intake.
Items we accept will be priced, styled, and placed for sale within 24 hours of intake.
2. Pricing, Sales Channels & Promotion
Loom sets the price for all consigned items. For pieces valued over $1,000, we may consult with you as a courtesy. We price thoughtfully — not just for speed, but for value.
- If an item remains unsold after 30 days, we may adjust the price — typically by 15%, though this may vary based on market conditions and performance.
- Prices may vary across platforms depending on shipping and sales potential.
- Items may be featured in-store, on our Instagram, or listed on third-party marketplaces including Etsy, eBay, Chairish, and Facebook Marketplace.
- Third-party seller fees (typically 10–30%) are deducted from the final sale price before calculating your payout.
3. Commission & Payment
Consignors receive:
- 40% of the net sale price — paid in cash via Venmo or mailed check
- 50% of the net sale price — if you'd prefer store credit instead
Payouts are processed at the end of each month and must be requested by you. For items that sell for $500 or more, we'll reach out to let you know and encourage you to request your payout at that time.
4. Consignment Term & Item Return
Your items are consigned for 60 days from the date they go on the sales floor. If an item hasn't sold by then, you have 7 days to request its return.
If we don't hear from you within that window, the item becomes the property of Loom and may be sold, donated, or otherwise used at our discretion. Return delivery can be arranged for a fee based on size, weight, and distance.
You're also welcome to request early removal of any item at any time — just reach out and we'll coordinate based on our availability.
5. Ownership
By signing this agreement, you confirm that you are the lawful owner of all items submitted for consignment, that they are free of any liens or legal restrictions, and that they do not infringe on any third-party rights.
6. Liability
Loom takes great care with every piece in our shop. However, we are not liable for loss, theft, damage, fire, natural disaster, or other events beyond our control.
