What we're looking for in this full-time role —
The Office Manager oversees daily administrative operations of the DME office, ensuring efficient workflow, staff coordination, and compliance with healthcare regulations. This role manages front-office staff, handles patient service issues, maintains records, and supports billing and insurance processes.
Starting salary range: $25 - $30/hour.
Here’s how you'll help —
· Supervise office staff and delegate tasks to ensure efficient operations
· Oversee scheduling, intake, and patient service functions
· Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements
· Monitor and manage office inventory, equipment orders, and DME supplies
· Coordinate with billing and authorization staff to support claims processing

The Authorization Specialist is responsible for obtaining and tracking prior authorizations for durable medical equipment, ensuring timely approvals and accurate documentation to support billing and patient care.

Here’s how you'll help —
· Submit and track prior authorization requests to insurance providers
· Communicate with physicians’ offices for necessary clinical documentation
· Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
· Ensure documentation meets payor and CMS requirements
· Follow up on pending authorizations and resolve denials
· Enter and update authorization data in the EMR or billing system
· Collaborate with billing, intake, and delivery teams to prevent delays
· Stay updated on insurance policies and DME regulations
