The House of the People will be a permanent Citizens Assembly allowing anyone in the UK the chance to make important decisions about the big problems we're facing. The SECOND sitting will take place on 19 - 22 February 2026 - Enter the lottery for a chance to take part.

Anyone in the UK can apply in hopes of being chosen. Weighting is applied to ensure there is representation for everybody — a bit like a jury – using sortition to create a fair makeup of Britain, across age, geography, gender, income level, ethnicity and disabilities. Accommodation and food will be provided and travel costs will be subsidised.

The House of the People will sit for 4 days from 19 - 22 February 2026. Travel and Accommodation for participation will be arranged and/or paid for by the organisers. There may be financial support available to assist with childcare costs and loss of income, if fundraising targets are met, for which participants can apply.
