House of Hustle provides youth sports training, leagues, and performance programs that build confidence, skill, and community through sport. We operate under The Peralta Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access and opportunity for youth and families.

The Peralta Foundation offers scholarship assistance for Club and Select Tournament Team athletes based on demonstrated financial need and available funding. Submission of an application does not guarantee that assistance will be awarded.

Club Teams: Scholarship assistance applies to team tuition only and does not cover league registration fees, uniforms, or personal equipment.

Select Tournament Teams: Scholarship assistance applies to team tuition only and does not cover uniforms, travel, or personal equipment.

Athlete Essay Requirement (Middle School and High School Applicants Only)

The athlete must submit a short essay (250–500 words) detailing:
- Explain how basketball has impacted your life.
- Share specific ways the sport has influenced your personal growth, mindset, or opportunities.
- Describe the unique qualities you would bring to the team beyond your on-court abilities.

Demonstration of Financial Need:(all information is kept strictly confidential.)
- Last year’s tax return(s) for both parents/guardians.
  - Please redact (black out) social security numbers.
- A letter explaining any extenuating financial circumstances, if applicable.
Tax Returns for both parents or/any extenuating financial circumstance letters or documentation.(Documents can include any eligibility for this assistance includes approval for Free & Reduced Lunch, SNAP, Medicaid, CHIP, or a statement letter from HUD/Section 8 or WIC. Additionally, consideration is based on income documentation and last year’s tax return.)*

Letter of Recommendation
- A letter from a non-family member is required to speak to the athlete’s character, work ethic, and dedication. This could be from a coach, youth director, or teacher. Letters may be sent directly to financialaid@thehouseofhustle.org by the recommender.
Deadline
- Complete applications must be submitted no later than 3 days after receiving the team offer.
  - All applications are reviewed by the Financial Aid team and considered based on eligibility and available funding. Submission does not guarantee approval. Applicants will be notified of the outcome via email within 5–7 business days.
