MATERIALS LIST: If you are brand new to painting and need all the following materials I urge you to shop the Amazon link below. Sometimes Amazon is not the most reliable source because their providers run out of stock, etc. so once you reach the Amazon link, you'll see all the products there. If you click on something and discover that it's out of stock or no longer available, simply search Amazon with the name of the product and you should have success.

If you already have materials, please make sure you have colors listed below and bring only those to class. This is important. Please bring "flat" brushes.

    • PAINT:  I have provided links for each color within the “MATERIALS LINK” below. -OR- You can find these colors locally at Hobby Lobby, Michaels, or Jerry’s Artarama

        • Yellow Ochre OR Yellow Oxide
      • Reds:
        • Cadmium Red Light OR Vermillion

    • PALETTE: You’ll do best with a “stay-wet” palette. They are expensive. I will instruct the class on how to create your own stay-wet palette using simple, inexpensive items; a cafeteria tray, parchment paper, and a plastic spreader. See the “MATERIALS LINK” below.
    • CANVAS: We will use one 12x16 inch stretched canvases for this class. Canvases are not included in the “MATERIALS LINK”. You can easily order them online or pick them up locally.
    • PALETTE KNIFE: If you don’t have one, find this in the “MATERIALS LINK” below.
    • SKETCH BOOK: For taking notes and drawing. If you don’t have one, find it in the “MATERIALS LINK” below.
    • PENCIL: No special kind is required. I have listed the one I will use in the “MATERIALS LINK” below.
