- Submission does not guarantee acceptance.
- Space is limited. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance via email.
- A parent/guardian must also sign required consent forms during this application process.

Student Information
Program Description:

The Andrea C. Cameron Foundation is proud to offer an SAT Prep Course to high school students in Palm Beach County. This program is designed to help students improve their scores in Reading/Writing and Math, develop test-taking strategies, and build academic confidence. The course will be held at Palm Beach State College – Gardens Campus on scheduled weekday evenings from January through May 2026.

CONSENT & AGREEMENT

By signing below, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Voluntary Participation: I understand that participation in the SAT Prep Program is voluntary and offered at a minimal cost to the student. If the student misses two sessions without having his/her absence excused, the student will forfeit his/her spot.
2. No Guarantee of Results: Participation in this SAT Prep Course does not guarantee any specific outcomes, scores, or results on exams or assessments. The program is intended as a supplemental resource to support general study skills, readiness and content review. Individual performance may vary as is influenced by a variety of factors, including but not limited to personal effort, prior knowledge, test-taking ability, and outside circumstances. While the program aims to provide helpful guidance and resources, the organizers make no representations or warranties regarding academic or testing outcomes.
3. Commitment: I understand that attendance is critical for student success. Students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions. More than two unexcused absences will result in removal from the program.
4. Transportation: I acknowledge that transportation to and from Palm Beach State College is the responsibility of the student and their family.
5. Conduct: I understand that students are expected to uphold respectful behavior in accordance with the code of conduct of their school and the standards of the Foundation and Palm Beach State College.
6. Photo/Media Release: I grant permission for my child’s image, voice, or written work to be used in promotional materials, publications, social media, or videos by the Andrea C. Cameron Foundation unless I opt out in writing.
7. Liability Waiver: I release and hold harmless the Andrea C. Cameron Foundation, its staff, volunteers, Palm Beach State College, and any affiliated entities from any liability, injury, or claims that may arise during participation in the SAT Prep Program.
8. Emergency Contact: I give permission for the program staff to contact emergency services if needed and to reach out to the listed emergency contact should a situation arise.

Availability & Commitment
The success of this SAT Prep Course depends on consistent student participation. The program is designed to build skills over time and each session builds upon the last.

Attendance expectations:

Students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions.
Only two excused absence will be allowed per term.
Unexcused absences or repeated tardiness will result in dismissal from the program.
Students must communicate any unavoidable absence in advance to Foundation staff or instructors.

Failure to follow these expectations may result in a warning, parental notification, or dismissal from the program.

I understand that I am expected to attend all scheduled SAT Prep classes from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. A maximum of two (2) absences is permitted throughout the nine (9) sessions. If I am unable to attend a class, I must notify my instructor at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled session. I acknowledge that failure to provide proper notice, exceeding the allowed number of absences, or repeated unexcused absences will result in my removal from the SAT Prep Program.I do not understand that I am expected to attend all scheduled SAT Prep classes from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. The Andrea C. Cameron Foundation documents programs and events to promote its mission and share the impact of its educational initiatives with the community, donors, and partners. This includes photography, video, and written testimonials that may be used in the following:
- Foundation website, social media, and newsletters

6. Stay for the entire duration of each session.
