Youth Ministry Welcome 2025-2026

At St. Ignatius Parish, our Youth Ministry program is all about connection—helping young people build meaningful relationships with one another while growing in faith, service, and community. We joyfully welcome all youth in 5th through 12th grade, whether they’re already involved in parish life or just exploring.

You don’t need to be part of another program to participate—just come as you are. Friends, siblings, non-Catholics, and anyone curious about our activities are warmly invited to join us. We’re excited to embark on this journey together and create a space where every young person feels seen, supported, and inspired.

🌿 Faith Connection [Prayer & Formation] -- This program helps youth explore the love and compassion of God through scripture, liturgy, and music. Opportunities include: 1.) Bible Study Nights -- First Tuesday of each month [unless otherwise noted] 2.) Liturgical Training – Learn how to serve as an altar server, lector, or join youth music ministry 3.) Youth Mass Participation – Special 5:00 PM youth Masses throughout the year 4.) Teaching Masses – Designed to help youth grow in their understanding of the Catholic liturgy // Note: Liturgical roles may require additional training. We’re happy to walk you through what’s involved.❤️ Service & Connection -- This program offers hands-on opportunities for youth to grow in faith through service and justice. Opportunities include: 1.) Monthly Service Projects – Local outreach and parish-based volunteering 2.) Seasonal Donation Drives – Support those in need through organized collections 3.) Immersion Programs – For older teens, optional travel-based service experiences [domestic & international] 4.) Faith & Justice Conversations – Occasional gatherings to reflect on service and Catholic Social Teaching🎉 Fun Youth Outings & Community Building -- We believe fun and fellowship are vital to youth formation! This program provides a welcoming space for teens to connect with peers and build relationships. Opportunities include: 1.) Regular Youth Group Gatherings – Games, food, friendship, and faith-based sharing 2.) Guest Speakers – Faith and life conversations on topics suggested by youth for youth 3.) Monthly Meetups & Summer Activities – Social events, movie nights, Giants games, and more! 4.) Athletic & Community Events – Opportunities to play, cheer, or volunteer as a group
