Chaplain Credentialing Minimum Requirements
Level 1: Community/Volunteer Chaplain Credentials, will require the successful completion of the introductory Community/Volunteer Chaplains Training.
Level 2: Licensed Chaplain candidates will require successfully completing CPE 100 through an accredited CPE program such as SCCN's fully accredited program with (CPEI.edu).
Level 3: Chaplain Ordination will require successfully completing CPE levels 100, 200, 300 and 400.
Board Certified Chaplain Credentials may be applied for with our affiliate, (CPEI.EDU) after completing four CPEs if other requirements such as academic degrees, successfully completing the application and paperwork and passing the examining baod are met.
* Having academic degrees Chaplaincy Credentials and Completing four CPEs does not guarantee Board Certification or working full time as a Chaplain. There may be other qualifications required by the employer.
