Sunflowers For Peace: A Collaborative Project

Sunflowers for Peace is a free project where artists from around the world share sunflower-inspired artwork. The goal is to raise awareness and donations for Insight, a group dedicated to helping marginalized communities affected by the war in Ukraine. “Insight is a Ukrainian public organization whose main values are equality, feminism, freedom, inclusiveness, diversity for all social groups.” (https://www.insight-ukraine.org/en/)
The sunflower is the national flower of Ukraine. It is a symbol of peace as well as a natural occurrence of "the many coming together as one"

This project, which began in March 2022, brings together the voices of many in an artistic cry for peace showcased by the sunflower artwork contributed to the project.

Sunflowers For Peace is currently available to view digitally on Instagram @sunflowers_for_peace and on the “Sunflowers for Peace- a collaborative project” Facebook page.

***All physical submissions will be offered for sale during the final show as part of the fundraising effort. No unsold submissions will be returned. All money raised will be donated to Insight.

Submissions and participation in the project are voluntary, free to anyone, anywhere in the world, and open to any age and skill level. All submissions that meet the criteria for submissions will be posted to the Sunflowers for Peace Instagram page and other social media and may be reproduced for the purpose of this project in any way and used, in perpetuity, to promote the ongoing project as well as in any art shows and for fundraising for Inisght in the future. Artists will maintain all the rights to their work.
