2025 - 2026 tSB Mentor Application

Each year, the Service Board brings together a group of high school students and adult mentors from a diverse range of academic, racial, cultural and economic backgrounds to engage in our Core Program. Program participants meet twice weekly from beginning of winter through spring. Weekday workshops focus on engaging discussions encompassing a broad range of social justice topics. Weekend activities rotate between intensive service learning projects and snowboarding, hence our name: the Service Board.

Core Program Schedule and Key Dates
- January 9th: *New Volunteers only*: Intro to tSB @ Virtual
- January 11th: MANDATORY Volunteer Skills Review and Group Ride @ Summit at Snoqualmie
- January 23-25: Program Kick-Off Retreat*
- January 28, 29, 30: Gear Disbursement Days
*Overnight retreat: lodging/transportation/ food covered by tSB

February-March
- Wednesdays 5:30-8pm: Weekly Social Justice Workshops
  Saturdays 6/7am - 3/4:30pm: Snowboarding
- No programs during mid-winter break!
April-May
- Wednesdays 5:30-8:00pm: Social Justice Workshops
  Saturdays 10am-2pm: Service Projects
- No programs during spring break!
If selected to be a Mentor, you are required to attend the volunteer skills review on January 11th and the Core Program Kick-Off Retreat on January 23 - 25th.

tSB is constantly monitoring public health developments closely. tSB’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and programming are subject to change as public health recommendations change.
