We are gathering the cactus crew and building the LEGO Mini Orchid! She is serving sculptural elegance without the emotional turmoil of a real orchid. Together, we’ll transform a tiny pile of pieces into soft peach petals, bold green leaves, and a little pot that looks like it belongs in a design magazine. It’s methodical in the best way. Click. Turn. Snap. Repeat. Your brain gets something structured to focus on while your nervous system quietly exhales.
This month at Art & Conversation, we’re flipping the script on perspective. We’ll create a circular cityscape using the color wheel that looks up from the center of the street into a galaxy-filled sky. Think bold buildings radiating outward, sections of vibrant color, and a dreamy universe anchoring it all in the middle. As our colors blend and our lines stretch toward the sky, we’ll move into a guided conversation around the theme “What I Wish They Knew.” We’ll create space to reflect on what you wish others (doctors, family members, friends, medical professionals) better understood about your young adult cancer experience.
