    The Grand Art Show
  • The Monastery AZ invites artists from across Arizona to submit work for our fall exhibition. This is an opportunity to reach new collectors and share your voice in a welcoming, thoughtfully curated setting.

    Eligibility & Guidelines
    – Open to all Arizona-based artists
    – All themes and mediums welcome
    – Submit up to 2 pieces for consideration
    – No application fee
    – Works must be for sale (The Monastery retains a 30% commission on all sales)

    Preferred criteria:

    – Works under 20”x24” in size
    – Priced under $500

    While all submissions will be considered, priority will be given to works meeting the size and price preferences.

    Key Dates:
    – Submission Deadline: September 8, 2025
    – Notification of Acceptance: September 9, 2025
    – Delivery of Accepted Work: September 20–21, 2025

  • Artwork Delivery & Pick-Up

    • Accepted artwork must be delivered on the scheduled drop-off date provided by The Monastery AZ.
    • All artwork must be picked up at the end of the exhibition during the designated pick-up window.

    Presentation Requirements

    • Artwork must be exhibition-ready. This includes being properly framed (if applicable) and wired for hanging.
    • Each piece must be labeled with the artist’s name, title, medium, size, and price at the time of drop-off.

    Sales & Replacements

    • The Monastery AZ will offer the Artist’s work for sale at the retail price specified by the Artist. Artist agrees that The Monastery shall retain a commission of 30% of the specified price provided by the Artist.
    • The Grand Art Show is a take-home exhibition: when a buyer purchases a piece, they may take it with them the same day.
    • In the event of a sale, The Monastery AZ may contact me to provide an additional work to display in its place.

    Marketing & Promotion

    • Artists are encouraged to share promotional materials provided (flyers, social media posts, Facebook Event link here) to help promote the show.
    • The Monastery AZ may use images of my submitted work for marketing and promotional purposes related to this event.

    Liability

    • The Monastery AZ takes reasonable precautions to protect artwork and provides limited liability for loss/damaged works. Artist/Representative is encouraged to assume proper and adequate insurance for their artwork and property.

    Acknowledgment

    By signing this form, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to the above terms, and that my submitted artwork will be included in The Grand Art Show under these conditions.
