2026 Zimmerman Scholarship Application

Farm, Home, & Youth Foundation of Montgomery County Scholarship
In memory of Merrill K. and Louise Zimmerman for their life-long dedication and devotion to 4-H

Eligibility

The student must:
1. Have participated in the Montgomery County 4-H Program for a minimum of three years.
2. Not have won this scholarship previously.
3. Be planning to major in (or be currently enrolled in) either agricultural sciences or family consumer sciences/human development fields.
4. Be a high school senior or presently attending a college or university in an undergraduate program.
5. Have achieved a superior academic record or show promise of outstanding academic success.
6. Submit a high school transcript (and college transcript if presently enrolled).
7. Submit two (2) letters of recommendation from a variety of sources – may include teachers, volunteer leaders, community leaders, etc. At least one (1) letter of recommendation must be from a current or former 4-H Leader.

Deadline for submission: April 26, 2026. Late and/or incomplete applications will not be considered.

Scholarship amount: $1,000.00

Two scholarships will be awarded in May of 2026.
