There are two types of financial assistance available from Timothy:

1. After speaking with you we may be able to offer gift cards, our pastor may issue one or two gift cards, which cover a variety of expenses.

2. A request may be submitted for review to determine if we are able to approve funds via check to the vendor.

All assistance requires completion of this form, plus the appropriate documentation, as applicable, for consideration.

Basic requirements & additional conditions:

1. You must be a Georgia resident.

2. All appplicants must provide some form of goverment issued photo identification. (A photo copy of the identification will be kept on file at Timothy.)

3. All applicants must complete the request form and provide photocopies of any supporting documentation (bills, statements, invoices, etc) as evidence of the need for the requested financial assistance.

4. Timothy does not provide cash in any circumstance.

5. Approved gift card assistance will be provided directly to the applicant while other approved assistance will be paid directly to the vendors via check, subject to the tiered approval process and Timothy's normal check writing schedule.

6. The We Care Community fund provides one-time assistance, not ongoing assistance and there is a cap of $200.00. (Any applicant/household may be approved for assistance only once in a 2-year time period.)

7. Timothy does not provide assistance for car payments, insurance payments, phone bills, traffic tickets or non-essential expenses. If you are applying for rental assistance and are already in the eviction process, we will not consider your request.

8. Request for food will be directed to Timothy's Cupboard Foodbank.
