TRY Main Event Registration

This year, The Rocks Youth is going to MAIN EVENT, a statewide stadium gathering, hosted by Youth Alive WA! MAIN EVENT is a statement event that aims to unite young people across WA. It's like a Youth Night - filled with games, worship, an inspiring message, and community - but with every other youth in WA! We're so excited to take part in the bigger picture of what God is doing in our city!

MAIN EVENT DETAILS

Date: Friday, 5 September
Event Location: Perth HPC Arena, 100 Stephenson Ave, Mount Claremont WA 6010
Church Location: THE ROCKS Cannington, 26 Cecil Ave, Cannington WA 6107
Cost: $20 (this cost includes bus + food) 

DROP OFF & PICK UP

• Meet at The Rocks Cannington at 4:45PM to check in (debrief with your Small Group Leader safety instructions for the night)
• Leave The Rocks Cannington at 5:15PM latest via Bus
• Arrive at HPC at 6:00PM
• Enjoy Main Event!
• Leave HPC around 9:50PM
• Arrive at The Rocks Cannington at 10:30PM

FAQs

Can I pick up/drop off my teen at Perth HPC Arena?
Yes, you are welcome to, however, we recommend picking them up from The Rocks Cannington, as the event aftermath will be very congested. Please ask your teen to let their small group leader know if you are picking them up or dropping them off at the venue.

What time should I pick up my teen?
Between 10PM and 10:30PM. Please note that when the event finishes at 9:00pm, there will be over 5000 youth and young adult leaders leaving the Perth HPC Arena via multiple buses at the same time. We ask for your patience and grace as we carefully navigate our way back to The Rocks Cannington after the event finishes. Our focus is to ensure all of our young people are safe to and from the venue! Please stay in contact with your teen, and/or your teen's small group leader.

Will there be food provided?
Yes, we will provide sandwiches and light snacks at The Rocks Cannington before we travel on the bus. Note that Youth Alive are not providing food at the Perth HPC.

Does my teen need a SmartRider for the bus?
No. We have hired a private coach bus to transport our youth to this event. There will be youth leaders on the bus with them to ensure everyone's safety.

In the case of an emergency, we will contact this person. Those in Yr 7-12, please put your primary parent or guardian. (18+ Leaders/Volunteers: This is your emergency contact)

Parent/Guardian Declaration

By signing this form, I agree to the following:

I give permission for my child to be included in any footage/photographs taken throughout the camp. These may be used for public distribution e.g. church website and The Rocks Youth promotions.

I acknowledge that the activities can be hazardous and that my child participates at his/her own risk.

I agree that THE ROCKS Youth or THE ROCKS Church may authorise on my child's behalf whatever medical treatment he/she may require. This includes, but is not limited to ambulance attendance and hospital treatment. I agree to pay all medical expenses incurred.

I understand that THE ROCKS Youth and THE ROCKS Church will take reasonable steps to provide a safe environment for my child and to ensure that all equipment supplied by them for the activity is of a reasonable standard.

I am willing to come and collect my child if, for any reason, the camp leadership believe that is necessary.

I hereby release THE ROCKS and The Rocks Youth, its staff and volunteers, from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action and possible causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage or injury (including death) that may be sustained to or by my child while participating in or travelling to and from this event.

I hereby give permission for my child to attend the YouthAlive Main Event 2025 at Perth HPC Arena & The Rocks Church on Friday, 5 September 2025 4:45pm - 10:30pm

Should you for any reason decide to withdraw your registration, a $20 refund will be offered minus any credit card or booking fees if cancelled by August 29th 2025. Should you withdraw your registration after this date, there will be no refund offered.

Student Declaration

I will be attending the YouthAlive Main Event 2025 with The Rocks Youth and abide by all the rules as they are set down. I will not leave the property without proper authority. I understand that this is an alcohol, smoking, illicit drugs and weapons free event.
