                  We are hiring: Sales & Partnerships Manager at BorderFlo

    BorderFlo is making it seamless for Africans to pay school fees, access credit, and move abroad smarter, starting with cross-border education payments. We are building the financial infrastructure that powers global mobility, and we’re expanding fast.

    We are looking for a Sales & Partnerships Manager who will drive our B2C and B2B growth by building strategic relationships with travel agencies, schools, and ecosystem partners across Africa.

     

    THE ROLE

    You own growth through partnerships and sales.
    You’ll help shape how BorderFlo connects with institutions, agencies, and students — and build the engine that drives adoption at scale over the next 6–12 months.

     

    WHAT YOU’LL OWN

    → Designing and executing BorderFlo’s sales and partnership strategy
    → Identifying and closing B2B deals with travel agencies, schools, and edu-consultants
    → Driving B2C adoption through community and strategic partner channels
    → Building and managing sales pipelines, forecasting, and reporting
    → Negotiating partnership terms that drive adoption and revenue growth
    → Collaborating with Marketing & Product teams to optimize pricing, packaging, and offers
    → Tracking and reporting weekly KPIs directly to the leadership team

     

    WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

    30 days: Landscape mapped, partner pipeline defined, first deals initiated
    60 days: Sales playbook & outreach system in place, first conversions closed
    90 days: Predictable B2B/B2C pipeline and steady partner-led growth
    6 months: Revenue targets hit and scalable sales/partnership processes running smoothly

     

    REQUIREMENTS

    3–5 years of experience in sales, partnerships, or business development
    Experience in travel, fintech, or education sectors (required)
    Proven track record of closing deals and hitting growth targets
    Strong understanding of B2B and B2C dynamics in African markets
    Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
    Based in Nigeria (Hybrid role, but Lagos preferred)


    YOU’RE NOT A FIT IF

    ✗ You need daily hand-holding to get things done
    ✗ You’ve never built or managed a sales pipeline
    ✗ You can’t show measurable results from previous roles
    ✗ You think partnerships are about luck, not strategy and structure

     

    COMPENSATION

    ₦500,000–₦700,000/month base

    Performance bonuses tied to growth & partnership milestones
