The Division of Humanities and the Arts is pleased to announce a new round of the Divisional Faculty Travel Program. The program supports scholarly endeavors in the Humanities and Arts. Typically, faculty have used these funds to attend conferences to disseminate the results of their scholarly and creative activity, but the funds may also be used to support travel for research or other endeavors critical to the completion of a scholarly or creative arts project.
A limited amount of funding is available for FALL 2025. Preference will be given to requests for the second part of the academic year.
The program is open to full-time tenured and tenure track faculty (including CCE’s). It is funded from tax-levy and philanthropic funds. Faculty Travel awards generally cannot fund 100% of the expenses but rather provide assistance to defray a significant portion of the travel costs. Faculty are always encouraged to explore other sources of funding, including the Office of the Provost.
Faculty may apply for domestic or foreign travel, with awards depending on the distance and expenses.
