    Lobby performances are not intended to be as prestigious as clinic sessions or concert performances for division sessions and general sessions of the GMEA Conference. Lobby performances should be chamber music performed by small instrumental and vocal ensembles between regular conference sessions at volumes that will not prohibit normal conversation by conference participants. Lobby performances must not exceed the time allotted.

    No ensemble will be permitted to perform if the membership of the group exceeds the number of members on the application, without prior approval from GMEA. Absolutely no equipment of any kind, including music stands, will be provided for lobby performances other than chairs. If selected, you must bring everything you need for your performance other than chairs.

    Directors of all groups applying will be notified of acceptance or rejection no later than November 15th. Assignment of times of performance will be sent no later than December 9th.
