    Participants will be certified for:
    Forklift Operation • Scissors Operation • Gradall Operation • Scaffold Building • OSHA 10 • Fall Arrest (Enclosed Space) • First Responders Course • Confined Space Awareness Level Training • Fall Protection Awareness Training • Fire Extinguisher Training • Heat Illness Awareness Training • Job Hazard Analysis Training • Lock-Out Tag-Out Awareness Training • PIT Class 7 - Tele-handler Operator

    Minimum Eligibility Requirements: 
    To apply, you must be at least 18 years old by the first day of the program and possess a valid Hawaiʻi Driver’s License.

    The program at Laʻiʻōpua 2020 begins October 4, 2025 and will be held for four consecutive weekends:

    All-day Sessions beginning at 8:00 a.m. 
    Saturday, October 4 CPR, First Aid, AED
    Sunday, October 5 Fire Extinguishers, Fall Arrest (Enclosed Spaces), Lock-Out Tag-Out, Job Hazard Analysis, Heat Illness Awareness, and Fall Protection
    Saturday, October 11 & Sunday, October 12 Forklift, Scissors Lift, Aerial Boom, and PIT Class 7 - Tele-handler Operator
    Saturday, October 18 OSHA 10
    Sunday, October 19 Scaffold and OSHA 10
    Saturday, October 25 Soft Skills Training and Hōʻike

    Disclaimer: Minimum requirement for enrollment: 18 years of age and valid driver's license. Upon successful completion of the Passport courses and meeting the minimum age requirement of 21 years, you will be eligible for the opportunity to enroll in the CDL training class. Schedule is subject to change.
