  • Public Art

    Ocala Outdoor Sculpture Competition

    Ten sculptures are selected for a two-year exhibition in Tuscawilla Park and Art Park.
    Park Sponsor $500
    Benefits: Logo placement in sculpture guide, scavenger hunt brochure, social media
    feature and 10 ft. x 10 ft. vendor booth at Tuscawilla Sculpture Stroll.

    Sculpture Sponsor $1,500
    Benefits: Park Sponsor benefits +2 VIP tickets for Art Outside the Lines Brunch,
    recognition in select event marketing, press releases, and a permanent plaque by
    sponsored sculpture.

    Art in City Spaces

    Rotating visual art exhibits of curated artists displayed throughout four city gallery’s locations: City Hall, Eighth Avenue Adult Activity Center, Mary Sue Rich Community Center at Reed Place, and Ocala International Airport. Gallery sponsorships run for 12 months.

  • Cultural Arts Programs

    First Friday Art Walk

    Every month, artists display artworks and perform throughout downtown October through May. Sponsors are promoted throughout these months.
    Painter Sponsor $500
    Benefits: Website, social media recognition, and your logo on monthly First Friday F Art Walk maps.
    Sculptor Sponsor $1,000
    Benefits: Painter Sponsor benefits + 10x10 promotional booth at each Art Walk.

    Sand and Sun Festival

    A day full of fun in the sun featuring a juried professional sand sculpting competition hosted at Citizens' Circle.
    Sand Box Sponsor $250
    Benefits: Logo placement on City website, social media, event t-shirts, and 10ft x 10ft vendor booth.
    Sand Castle Sponsor $500
    Benefits: Sand Box Sponsor benefits + logo placement on select marketing materials, inclusion in inclusion in press releases and information booth recognition.
    Sand Sculpture Circle $1,500
    Benefits: Sand Castle benefits + logo sculpted in sand in welcome sculpture.

    Tuscawilla Art Park Series

    The series features a variety of art experiences each Spring including: OTrak Chalk Walk, tm Art Outside the Lines Brunch, Tuscawilla Sculpture Stroll, and the Art Park Literary & Poetry Festival.
    Cultural Sponsor $250
    Benefits: Logo on website, logo on selected marketing materials, and 10x10 vendor booth during any listed experience.
    Music Sponsor $500
    Benefits: Cultural benefits + logo placement on program t-shirt, poetry book and select marketing materials, and information booth recognition.
    Art Sponsor $1,000
    Benefits: Music benefits + stage recognition, complimentary program and 2 VIP tickets, business logo drawn in chalk at OTrak Chalk Walk and the opportunity to join competition committees.

    Exhibit Space
    • Booth must fit in 10’x10’ space and remain open for event duration.
    • Solid, non-flammable tents required; secure without staking.
    • Professional signage only; no handwritten signs.
    • Sponsors are responsible for all supplies and cleanup.
    • No animals except service animals.

    Marketing
    • Use only City-approved promotional materials.
    • Contact mprieto@ocalafl.gov for approved materials.

    Power
    • Electrical access is limited; coordinate needs in advance.
    • Generators discouraged; exceptions require approval.

    Setup
    • Set up information and maps will be provided closer to the participating event date.

    Additional Guidelines
    • Applicants must be present; professional behavior required.
    • No smoking within event site.
    • No aggressive sales tactics.
    • Sponsors responsible for sales tax compliance.

    SPONSOR AGREEMENT
    The vendor certifies that the information on the vendor application is a correct depiction of the services and products to be provided by the vendor at the event. The vendor understands that failure to follow application/vendor permit terms as described and stipulated herein will result in ineligibility for this and future events. The vendor further agrees to abide by all terms of the vendor permit for this event and to hold harmless and indemnify the City of Ocala against any claims arising by virtue of their occupancy of vendor space and participation in this event.

    GENERAL RELEASE
    The undersigned, individually and/or on behalf of the company/organization, in consideration for the City of Ocala’s permission to attend Cultural Arts events does hereby discharge, release, indemnify and hold harmless the City of Ocala, its employees, agents and officers and all other sponsoring organizations from any and all manner of actions, suit, damages or claims whatsoever arising from any loss or damage to the person or property of the undersigned and the undersigned’s employees, volunteers, representatives or agents while in possession of vendor space or participating in Cultural Arts events. I understand that, if accepted into the event, my booth fee shall not be refunded if all or part of the event is cancelled, including but not limited to inclement weather or acts of nature.
