As a volunteer with FCEF, I pledge to act with honesty, integrity, and respect in all that I do. I will put FCEF’s mission above personal interests, protect confidential information, avoid accepting gifts or favors meant to influence my volunteer role, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment. I understand that I am responsible for reporting any unethical behavior I observe.

Conflict of Interest
As a volunteer with FCEF, I agree to act in the best interests of the organization and not for personal benefit. I will promptly disclose any situation in which my personal, professional, or financial interests could interfere with—or appear to interfere with—my volunteer role. I understand I may not accept gifts, favors, or special treatment intended to influence my service, and I will keep all FCEF information I encounter confidential.

I agree to perform assigned tasks to professional standards under the direction of the Site Manager or their designee. I understand that:
- I am not an employee or contractor of FCEF.
- I assume all risk of injury, damages, or loss to my person or property, whether due to accident or negligence, including: My own actions, The actions of FCEF employees, contractors, other volunteers, or any persons involved with FCEF.
- Conditions of the project location (including land, buildings, flora, fauna, etc.)
FCEF does not assume any responsibility for the health, safety, or welfare of volunteers.

I certify that:
- I do not have a medical condition, impairment, or disability that prevents me from performing volunteer tasks.
- I will not undertake any activity that exceeds my physical capabilities.
- I will supply any necessary personal safety equipment or supplies for my volunteer work.
I understand that during my time volunteering with FCEF:
- I am prohibited from selling, endorsing, or promoting any commercial product, service, or financial institution.
By signing below:
- I waive any right to sue FCEF, its officers, employees, site owners, and their heirs or agents for any liability related to my volunteer work.
- I agree to indemnify and hold harmless FCEF in the event of a lawsuit related to my actions.
- I grant permission for FCEF to use my likeness (photos, video, etc in publications without compensation, and I waive any right to inspect or approve such materials.
