Fee, Tuition, Costumes- info Registration Fee $40 per Student and $50 per family is required to save a space in the class. The space is not reserved until this fee is paid. This fee is then applied to covering your child under the studio's insurance policy.

Tuition- Tuition is calculated for a 35-week season, divided into 10 monthly payments. Tuition can be automatically deducted from your debit/credit card. If your payment is declined you will be notified and are expected to pay the balance immediately. If you prefer to pay by cash or check, Payments are to be made by the first class of every month. Payments made after the 15th of every month will be considered late and incur a $30 late fee. If Payments are not received, students may be asked to sit out of class until tuition is up to date. Annual Payments you will receive a 10% discount when you pay the years tuition in full by September 30th. Tuition that is paid in full is non-refundable if a student withdraws from any/all classes during the year. However, if the class is cancelled by the studio then the money for that class will be refunded. Sibling Discounts a 7% discount will be given to the first sibling; a 10% discount will be given for the second or more siblings.

Tuition is not contingent on a four-week month. Tuition remains the same whether it's a 3- or 5-week month. Tuition will NOT be pro-rated for missed classes. There will be no refunds for classes missed, however, the student can come to another (comparable level) class to make-up the missed class. Holidays are figured into the yearly tuition. Once a registered student's class placement has been reserved for the season, it is expected to be a financial commitment for the entire season as well. A $40 return check fee will be assessed for any check returned by the bank. In the event that there is an over payment, the extra money will be applied to the next open charge on the account.

Costume Fees- Students who participate in the recital are required to purchase a costume. Costumes prices range from $80.00-$90.00 per costume. Costume payments are divided into two monthly installments due in October and November. Costumes can be paid by cash, credit/debit or check. Any student requiring a special-order costume may be subject to additional charges. Costumes will not be ordered or sent home unless or until all tuition and costume payments are up to date. Shoes and tights are not included in the costume price. Students will need to purchase these items separately. Costume Discounts- Pay your costume bill by November 15th and receive $5 off per costume. Costumes Charges Costumes with a balance due; after December 1st will incur an extra charge of $5 per costume. ALL COSTUME MONEY IS NON-REFUNDABLE. Students may NOT change classes once costumes are ordered. Once the costume is taken home it CANNOT be exchanged. If the student or family violates any of the studio policies, and are asked to leave the studio, tuition and costume money will not be refunded.

Attendance- is taken every class. Good attendance is crucial for proper training. It is the student's responsibility to make up any missed classes or learn previously missed material from a classmate. Please notify the studio of the student's absence. Missed classes may be made up in another class of similar age/style. If the student misses more than 5 classes during the months of April and May they may be asked not to participate in the annual recital, as classes during these months will be preparing them for the show. PERFECT ATTENDANCE AWARDS will be given out at the annual recital. To be eligible for the award the student must have perfect attendance in ALL the classes in which they are registered. Arriving late, leaving early and made up classes do not count towards perfect attendance. The student will receive one month's tuition to use towards classes for the following year. PAAs are non-transferable and expire one year from the date of issue on the certificate.

Snow/Bad Weather & Emergency Cancellations- If Raynham public schools are cancelled due to inclement weather, the studio will also be closed. Studio cancellations will be posted on the studio Facebook page, the studio Instagram page, and a notification will be sent via the RPA App. For weekend classes, please check these sources after 8:30 AM. We will do our best to reschedule cancelled classes, however, if this is not possible the students may make up the class during the week in a class of similar age and style. Please note that most classes meet for 36 weeks even though we bill for 35 weeks. This gives us one built in snow day.

Placement- the criteria to place a student in a certain Level is based age, technical performance, physical and cognitive readiness, performance skills and seriousness toward dance. All age groups are designed to have students remain in that level for 2-4 years. Students remaining in the same level will continue to improve on their technique on previously learned material while learning new material/skills. BALLET IS STRONGL RECOMMENDED for all students. Ballet is a solid foundation for dance. It builds a strong and flexible musculature, develops good balance and posture, and increases the range of motion in the dancer's body.

Participation In The Classroom- Students are expected to follow the rules of the classroom. If at any time the student is being uncooperative or disruptive; either to the teacher or the other students; he/she will be disciplined at once. If cooperation is not immediately shown, the student will be asked to leave the classroom until they are ready to come back in and follow the rules. Upon return it is expected the student will cooperate with the teacher for the remainder of the class. If the student continues to be uncooperative/disrespectful he/she will be asked to leave for the day. I understand that the art and nature of dance instruction may require a teacher to touch my child.

I understand that this will happen in a gentle, caring, and appropriate manner. Students who are 5 years old or younger, should have an adult present in the building for the entirety of their classes.

Recital- All students are encouraged to participate in the annual recital. Attendance at the rehearsals and recital are mandatory if the student wishes to participate in the recital. One absence may be excused for illness or a graded school function. *Any student who has an outstanding balance on their account will NOT be allowed to participate in the recital.

Withdrawal- Notification of withdrawal from class/school must be received by the last day of the month by 7:00PM; or you will be responsible for next month's tuition, as your space has been reserved.

Dress Code- Students are expected to follow the dress code of the studio for all ages and styles. No obstructive jewelry will be permitted in the classroom. Dancer's hair must be secured in a bun for all classes, except acrobatics and hip hop. For these classes, the hair needs to be secured and out of the face. Specific dress code requirements will be posted on the studio website and RPA App.

Studio Rules- any student arriving more than 15 minutes late may not be admitted to class. This is for your child's safety and for them to receive the full benefit of their class. Please arrange for a makeup class if you expect to be very late. All students are encouraged not to leave the room once class has begun. Please allow for appropriate restroom use prior to class. Very young children will be treated sensitively as the need arises. Preschool children may need the parent's attention from time to time for various reasons including, bathroom or behavior issues. Please do not leave the waiting area when very young children are in class without informing the office or having another parent responsible in your absence. We make every effort to have our children feel safe and cared for in a loving and encouraging learning environment.

Grade school children and Teens- Please practice respect. Students should not be socializing in a disruptive manner during class. Please honor your teachers and peers by giving your full attention and cooperation. You will be notified if we feel any student is not well adjusted to the classroom environment for any reason.

During class, if a student complains of being ill or sustains an injury and cannot continue class, the instructor will send them to the office, where the parents will be notified if they are not on the premises. Only students with a preexisting sickness/injury are allowed to observe the class. The parents must notify the office if a student is going to be observing class.

Pick Up/Drop Off- If your child is waiting more than 15 minutes, we will call the numbers that we have on file. If no one can be reached after 30 minutes we will then call the police. Students will be advised to wait in the lobby for their ride. Please note: Students will not be chaperoned after their class has been dismissed.
