    Children's Baptism Registration

  • We believe that every believer in Jesus Christ should be baptized. However, baptism is not the final destination. Discipleship to Jesus is the ultimate goal. A child receiving salvation and getting baptized should lead to a lifetime of worshipping and following Christ. Discipleship to Jesus is a lifelong journey, or as the Bible puts it, a “race” (Hebrews 12). Just as a runner will have the correct shoes, clothing, etc. for his/her race, we desire our children to be equipped with the “right shoes” (basic understanding of the foundational tenets of the Christian faith) to run this race of faith for their entire lives.

Our heart in providing the baptism class and continual discipleship programs is to help children build the foundation they need for a lifelong journey of truly following Jesus our Lord.

100% attendance in the 4-week baptism class is prerequisite to baptism. Parents must accompany children for all 4-weeks. 1 makeup class will be graciously offered. It is the responsibility of the student and their parents to communicate with the teacher and request for a makeup class.

Student Expectations: Ages 8+ (age of reason) as students will need to read classroom material, comprehend content, and write their own testimony.

Students are subject to formal observation to assess whether they are able to comprehend the basic tenets of the Christian faith, indicating their readiness to make a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and commitment to follow in Christ’s teachings. If the teacher observes the child is currently not ready for baptism, the teacher will advise the parents of the child to re-assess for a later baptism date.
