Study Abroad Program Terms & Conditions Agreement

I have applied to participate in the Study Abroad Program offered by Carib Student. I understand my participation in the Program, and I agree and represent as follows:
1. I understand that, as a client in the Study Abroad Program, I am responsible for meeting the deadlines set by Carib Student. This includes any form of submission asked by the advisor in aid of your application process.
2. Study Abroad Program. I understand that, as a client paying the Study Abroad Program Fee, I am aware that this fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
3. Authorization for Release of Educational Records. I give consent for full access to any and all records about me held by Carib Student. I understand that information from these records may be disclosed to my Program Coordinator, Education Advisor/or the institution of choice.
4. Contact Information. I will ensure that Carib Student has access to my current contact information for the duration of the Study Abroad Program. To that end, I will:
a. Maintain my permanent contact information throughout my Study Abroad Journey, making updates as necessary.
b. Provide my contact details abroad (address, email, and phone numbers) via email or to my advisor
5. Visa Requirements. I understand I must provide Carib Student with all the necessary details about my travel history, criminal records, and study visa checklist. I also understand that while Carib Student do their best to complete the study visa application in the best possible way, the decision of the student visa application is solely on the immigration officer. Carib Student stands no responsibility for visa denials.
6. Changes to the Program. Carib Student only allows two institution submissions in one at a time procedure at no cost to the client. Please note this is in the case where the client has not yet received an acceptance letter from their first choice. In cases where both schools have refused admission, the client accepts the third admission application fees.
8. Withdrawal from the Study Abroad Program. I understand that if I choose to withdraw from the Study Abroad Program that all study abroad fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
9. Passage Loan: I understand that the Passage Loan approval is based on Passage's credit team decision. Carib Student does not have the influence of loan approvals and student must readily have other means should a refusal of loan decision has been made.
11. Entire Agreement and Modification. The terms and conditions of this Study Abroad Agreement represent my complete understanding of the parties hereto with regard to my participation in the Study Abroad Program and supersedes any previous or contemporaneous understandings I may have had with Carib Student on this subject, whether written or oral, and cannot be changed or amended in any way without the written concurrence of both Carib Student and me.
12. Use of Representative (Canada Students): You have given the Carib Student full responsibility to represent you on all Education related processes. Please note Carib Student is not a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant and must seek RCIC guidance for any related immigration support.
(IF YOU ARE THE PARENT OR GUARDIAN PLEASE SIGN ON BEHALF OF YOUR CHILD) I AM OVER THE AGE OF EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS AND I AM ELIGIBLE TO EXECUTE THIS AGREEMENT. I HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND WILL ABIDE BY EACH OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS STUDY ABROAD AGREEMENT. I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO CONSULT WITH THE COUNSEL OF MY CHOICE PRIOR TO SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT AND I UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, THAT BY SIGNING IT I AM GIVING UP SUBSTANTIAL LEGAL RIGHTS I MIGHT OTHERWISE HAVE, AND THAT I HAVE SIGNED THIS DOCUMENT KNOWINGLY AND VOLUNTARILY.
