Welcome aboard – we're assembling a proud and passionate team of reenactors dedicated to bringing history to life. Your role goes far beyond just showing up; you're helping create an immersive experience for guests and fellow participants alike. This effort is all about camaraderie, authenticity, and working together to make something truly unforgettable.

We encourage the participation of volunteers who support our
mission and are willing to contribute. The information provided through this form will be kept confidential.

** Important Event Information

- Gates open at 9am each day.

- Friday is not open to the general public; however, it is a STEM day in which will invite local schools, retirement homes, and handicap organizations.

- You will be considered "Performers". This entitles you to performer credentials, to include vehicle passes and wristbands. These will be distributed Friday morning.

- As performers, you are invited and encouraged to join our "Afterburner Bash", which will take place Friday night in downtown Laurinburg. This event will allow for Sky High performers to mingle with the crowds and maybe draw more interest for our show.

- During active show hours, reenactment vehicles are not permitted to roam the grounds. Once gates close, then limited use of vehicles to get around is authorized.

- For those with "Tracked Vehicles", the only movement allowed with these is from transport vehicle to placement in the reenactment area. No driving of these vehicles is authorized on the grounds in an effort to preserve integrity of the airport. All loading and unloading of these vehicles will be done on the taxiway adjacent to the reenactment area.

- All transport vehicles, unless part of your display, must be parked in a designated parking lot and cannot remain in the core show area.

* No live or blank ammunition is allowed on the event site. Inert ammunition for display purposes will be allowed after inspection by an Expo designee.

* No open flames (fire rings/pits, burn barrels, ect. (camp stoves are not considered open flame))

* No vehicle movement unless authorized by Expo staff during public gate hours.
Participant Acknowledgment and Liability Waiver

I, the undersigned, do hereby acknowledge and agree that my participation in the Sky High Aerospace Expo (“the Event”) is entirely voluntary and involves potentially hazardous activities undertaken for my own recreation, education, and enjoyment.

I understand and accept that participation may include, but is not limited to:

- Navigating uneven or challenging terrain
- Entering or passing through structures in various physical conditions
- Operating or riding in military or vintage vehicles
- Handling, transporting, or using historically accurate firearms, replica weapons, or pyrotechnic devices

I acknowledge that these activities carry inherent risks, including the risk of serious personal injury or property damage. I freely assume full responsibility for all such risks.

Weapons Policy Compliance
I understand and agree that all weapons—whether real, replica, or non-functional—must be inspected and approved by event safety personnel each day prior to the opening of the event gates. I agree to comply fully with all safety protocols, inspection procedures, and rules as outlined by event organizers. Failure to comply may result in my removal from the event and revocation of participation privileges.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Event, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, and assigns, hereby waive, release, and hold harmless the following entities and individuals from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in the Event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise:

- Sky High Aerospace Expo, Inc. and its officers, directors, board members, employees, agents, and volunteers
- The County of Scotland, North Carolina
- The Laurinburg-Maxton Airport and all property owners or entities associated with the event site
- The Southeast Regional Airport Authority
- Event coordinators, contractors, and affiliates
- Owners and operators of all participating vehicles, both modern and vintage, whether used for transportation or demonstration
