By submitting this registration form, I agree to abide by FCPA's Code of Conduct as listed below:
Our Commitment to a Safe and Inclusive Environment
FCPA is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all participants.
Bullying in any form—whether in person, via social media, text messaging, or other means—will not be tolerated.
Any participant who engages in bullying, harassment, or behavior intended to demean or intimidate fellow cast members may receive a written warning and/or be immediately removed from the production. All disciplinary decisions will be made at the discretion of the FCPA Board and are final.
If a student has a concern, they should first speak with their parent or guardian. The parent or guardian may then contact a board member by emailing office@foothillsconservatory.org if further discussion is needed.
Be Positive
A positive attitude and disciplined behavior are essential for a successful experience.
Honesty, integrity, and kindness are expected at all times.
Be Respectful
Respect the authority of instructors, choreographers, and artistic staff. All casting decisions are final and
made at the sole discretion of the artistic team. Parents and students may not approach staff to dispute or discuss casting decisions. This policy ensures a respectful and professional environment for all.
Parents, please model respectful behavior and help your children understand the importance of respect.
Follow directions during rehearsals and maintain a cooperative and professional attitude.
Be Considerate
Take care of the studio, rehearsal spaces, costumes, props, and the belongings of others.
Support and encourage fellow cast members at all times.
Parents are expected to support not only their own child but the entire cast and crew.
Be Prepared
Transportation to and from rehearsals and performances is the responsibility of the participant and/or their family.
Arrive early and stretch for at least 15 minutes before rehearsals begin.
Wear the required rehearsal attire as directed by instructors.
Be Committed
By choosing to participate in The Nutcracker or any FCPA performance, you are making a commitment to the production and your fellow cast members.
Students are permitted one unexcused absence per scene.
After that, unless due to illness or a family emergency, your role may be reassigned at the discretion of the staff.
