Assumption of Risk & Waiver of Liability
I, the undersigned, acknowledge that participation in hiking activities organized by Strong Paws Academy LLC (“SPA”) involves inherent risks including, but not limited to: rough terrain, slips, falls, dog-on-dog interactions, weather conditions, water crossings, wildlife encounters, and other hazards. I understand that I am voluntarily participating in this activity with knowledge of these risks.
I agree to assume full responsibility for myself, my dog(s), and any minors in my care. I certify that my dog(s) is/are in good physical health and current on all required vaccinations.
I understand and agree that:
- I am responsible for my dog’s behavior and actions at all times.
- SPA staff, volunteers, or affiliates are not liable for injuries, damage, or loss that may occur to myself, my dog(s), or others during the event.
- I will follow all safety guidelines, trail etiquette, leash policies, and instructions provided.
- In the event of injury or illness to my dog, I am responsible for all veterinary costs.
I hereby release, indemnify, and hold harmless Strong Paws Academy LLC, its owners, agents, employees, volunteers, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, loss, or damage arising out of or related to participation in this activity.
