  • RETREET is a flagship program of Keep America Beautiful that redefines disaster relief by engaging communities in replanting trees. On November 8, 2025, Keep Dickinson Beautiful will host a large TREE-planting event for Dickinson residents wanting to replace lost trees.

  • ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF CONSENT:

  • Ownership of Damaged Property (required) I certify that I am the owner of the property at which I am requesting a tree and that my property sustained damage/tree loss from Hurricane Beryl which made landfall on July 8, 2024. 

    Titularidad de la propiedad dañada (obligatorio) Certifico que soy el propietario de la propiedad en la que solicito un árbol y que mi propiedad sufrió daños/pérdida de árboles por el huracán Beryl que tocó tierra el 8 de julio de 2024.

  • Permission (Required) I give permission to Keep Dickinson Beautiful, a nonprofit organization located at 218 FM 517 Rd W, Dickinson, TX, and its representatives, partners, and volunteers, to enter my property for the limited purpose of participating in RETREET programming. Such participation may include, but is not limited to, walking, surveying the property, locating appropriate planting sites, delivering supplies, digging holes, and planting trees.

    Permiso (Obligatorio) Autorizo a Keep Dickinson Beautiful, una organización sin fines de lucro ubicada en 218 FM 517 Rd W, Dickinson, TX, y a sus representantes, socios y voluntarios, a ingresar a mi propiedad con el propósito exclusivo de participar en el programa RETREET. Dicha participación puede incluir, entre otras cosas, caminar, inspeccionar la propiedad, localizar sitios adecuados para plantar, entregar suministros, cavar hoyos y plantar árboles.

  • Indemnification (Required) I, the undersigned, hereby release, discharge, and agree to hold harmless Keep Dickinson Beautiful, all other partners, sponsors, their agents, employees, officers, and successors from all liability, claims or actions which I, my heirs, executors, administrators, or assigns may have or claim to have against any of them arising from any personal injuries or other claims connected therewith, whether known or unknown, or injuries to other persons or to property caused by or arising out of any action related to or resulting activities associated with RETREET programming.

  • 811 (required) I agree to allow agents of Texas 811 to enter my property to mark utility lines, to ensure the safety of the volunteers and the proper placement of the tree, and I understand that Keep Dickinson Beautiful will submit a utility locate request to 811 on my behalf.

    811 (obligatorio) Acepto permitir que los agentes de Texas 811 ingresen a mi propiedad para marcar las líneas de servicios públicos, para garantizar la seguridad de los voluntarios y la ubicación adecuada del árbol, y entiendo que Keep Dickinson Beautiful enviará una solicitud de ubicación de servicios públicos al 811 en mi nombre.

     

  • Location (required) I understand that a representative of Keep Dickinson Beautiful or one of its chosen partners will work with me to determine the best planting location for my tree(s), and that the chosen location(s) is/are not to be changed once decided upon and marked, unless safety dictates otherwise as determined by 811 and/or Keep Dickinson Beautiful.

  • Care (required) I solemnly promise to water and care for my tree after it is planted and report once, annually, for two consecutive years, about the health of the tree to Keep Dickinson Beautiful at dbeautiful@dickinsontexas.gov

  • Acknowledgement of Request (required) I confirm that I have read and understand this agreement and that by signing this form I am formally requesting to have a tree planted on my property. I also understand that due to possible unforeseen circumstances, the type of tree that I request will not be guaranteed.
