    • Rigging Team 
    • We are looking for ISA Certified riggers to help rig, maintain, and derig all the highlines at GGBY. Responsibilities include rigging highlines to a specified standard, maintaining these highlines with regular checks, and derigging the highlines in a time efficient manner. Rigging will begin 3 days prior to the start of the event and derig will conclude 1 day after the end of the event. You will be expected to be present throughout the event and rig/derig sessions with a minimum of 3x ~5 hour shifts.

    • Rope Swing Crew 
    • We are looking for nine psyched and competent people to operate the 70m Insanity Swing off one of the 100m lines over the course of three days. Responsibilities include rigging a professional-grade rope swing during rigging days before the event, safely and efficiently running the swing over a single 6-8 hour shift while working in teams of 3 (winch operator, edge attendant, harness fitter/assistant), and derigging. Participants will sign up for time blocks, with estimated of up to 50 jumpers per day. All money raised will go to Friends of the Fruitbowl. Everything (from teams, logistics, operations, expectations, to pricing/max participant caps) will be flexible and are subject to change with discourse and input from the team to fit the needs to the event and individuals.
    • Medical Team 
    • We are looking for a team of caring and competent individuals to be volunteer medics at GGBY! If you have pertinent medical experience/certifications and want to take care of the humans at GGBY please sign up.We are looking for three medics per three hour shift at the medical tent, with a supervising medic on call throughout the day. Volunteer Medics will take five shifts over the course of the event between 9 AM - 6 PM. They can be back-to-back in a single day, or dispersed over multiple days. Supervising medics will take on two days of being on-call with a radio at all times. All medical volunteers will be helping to set up the med tent down by the bowl, have a presence at the tent during your shifts, give quality medical care within your scope of practice, and be aware of protocols in the event of a medical emergency. Supervising medics are individuals with higher medical training that are ‘on-call’ with a radio during the day and can help answer medical questions, assistance, and provide care. For after hours, medical volunteers may be called to assist if needed on an ‘on-call’ notice in and around camp.Supplies included will be a major medical kit, litter, two AEDs, medic armbands, radios, and a large tent stand.
    • Production Crew 
    • Thanks for your interest in helping out with the production team! Our team is responsible for setting up workshops and areas, providing and setting up audio and visual equipment for programming throughout the event space. Bonus point if you have production experience, but most of the work will consist of moving and setting up gear, so no specific skills are necessary!!
    • Kitchen Staff 
    • The most important job at GGBY 2025! Feed the homies who are volunteering to make this festival a reality! Kitchen volunteers will be scheduled for 2-4, 4hr shifts during the event . Breakfast (730am- 11) and/or dinner (4pm-8) . All volunteers will be required to attend rig and strike. Volunteers can complete their hours pre/post event if they don’t do a minimum of 3 kitchen shifts. Pre/post including prep, packing, food shopping, post cleaning on Sunday after GGBY .If volunteers want to do pre festival shift they need to be in Moab by Wednesday the 19th. For a post festival shift they need to be available Sunday the 23rd . All kitchen volunteers need to be available to start on Saturday the 22nd.
    • Transportation Crew 
    • We are looking for a team of skilled drivers who will be responsible for running our shuttle service from the satellite parking lots down to the main Fruit Bowl lot. Transportation Volunteers will have three 5 hour shifts, one 'night time' 1 hour shift, as well as some additional setup and tear down responsibilities. Transportation Volunteers are often GGBY's first point of contact with participants when they arrive, as such, volunteers should be professional and courteous to the large variety of participants they will encounter. Answering questions that you know the answer to, or helping the participant find a pathway to the answer (directly hand them off to another team member that can assist them with their inquiry).

    • Resources & Utilities

      Ordering and Management of Portos, Groovers, Firewood, Water, Trash, etc. Schedule and lead a team of volunteers to help educate participants of BLM and GGBY policies (specifically surrounding human waste LNT, as well as some basic needs of hydration and warmth in the desert environment). Working closely with Production Director and Operations Director along with other teams to help participants enjoy the festival in a sustainable fashion! Duties will extend from now until well after GGBY is over. We are looking for a person who is passionate and dedicated to put in way more hours than could feasibly be compensated.
    • Camping

      Management of camping in multiple zones. Schedule and lead a team of volunteers to help educate participants of BLM and GGBY policies (specifically surrounding LNT and GGBY event zoning and perimeter). Working closely with Transportation coordinator and Information coordinator along with other teams to help participants enjoy the festival in a sustainable fashion! Duties will extend from now until well after GGBY is over. We are looking for a person who is passionate and dedicated to put in way more hours than could feasibly be compensated.
    • Ticket Booth

      The gateway to the good times! Handles all ticket sales, wristband distribution, and entry scanning with speed, accuracy, and a warm welcome that sets the tone for the festival experience.
    • Merch/Raffle Booth

      The hub of festival swag and lucky chances! Manages sales of event merchandise and raffle tickets, keeps displays inviting, and ensures every customer leaves with a smile (and maybe a prize).
    • Information Booth

      The festival’s brain and compass in one! Provides LNT information, directions, schedules, lost-and-found services, and answers to just about everything—sometimes even the questions no one thought to ask.
    • Sponsorship Manager

      The festival’s relationship builder and deal-maker. Secures, nurtures, and manages partnerships that fuel the event, ensuring sponsors feel valued, visible, and eager to return.
    • Grant Manager

      The behind-the-scenes funding wizard. Researches, writes, and manages grant applications and reports, turning paperwork into festival magic through well-earned financial support.
