Insect Mini BioBlitz South Lake Nokomis Registration Form

Sunday, September 7th, 1-3 PM
Join us for an afternoon of exploring the southern edge of Lake Nokomis to see what insects we can find! We will use aerial, sweep and dip nets, as well as bug containers/jars to collect insects from grassy areas, shrubs and bushes, and from the lake! Experts will be on hand to share tips on insect identification. As a part of our ongoing effort to collect data on the biodiversity of Minneapolis Parks, we will upload our observations to the community science app iNaturalist.
