An Action Team is a collaborative group of individuals who are interested in helping with a particular project. The group will work together to achieve a common goal: to plan and conduct projects pertaining to bullying, mental health, positive youth development and more.
Each Action Team will meet for up to 12 weeks and will complete work through meetings and via email. At the end of the scheduled meetings you may decide to sign up for another Action Team or take a break from participating.
The steering committee for the City of Peabody Task Force understands that oftentimes people are unable or reluctant to enter into a long‐term or open‐ended commitment. An Action Team is designed to have a start and end date for each project in order for members to avoid feeling inundated with responsibilities or allow members to participate on various Action Teams.
If the Action Team that you are involved in requires youth participation all members will be required to complete a CORI release form before attending a meeting.
The City of Peabody Task Force appreciates the overwhelming response from individuals. There is a lot of work ahead of us, and we welcome anyone who would like to collaborate as a team and contribute to our community's success. If you have any questions please contact the City of Peabody Division of Social Services at 978-538-6339 or socialservices@peabodypolice.org
Thank you,
