REGISTRATION FOR THIS HAMCRAM SESSION IS NOW CLOSED.
“HAMCRAM” is a class where you will review the Federal Communications Commission content to become licensed or upgrade your license.

TECHNICIAN (Element 2 question pool) will help prepare you to pass the Amateur Radio Technician Class License test. From that question pool, you will be given the test which will include 35 questions. Morse code is no longer required and is not part of the test.

GENERAL RADIO UPGRADE (Element 3 question pool) will help prepare participants to pass the Amateur Radio GENERAL class license exam. Morse code is no longer required and is not part of the test. You must have a current Amateur Radio license to participate in this class. If you don't have a license, then please register for the "Technician" class.

IMPORTANT: A FRN (ID Number) from the Federal Communications Commission is required prior to submitting this application.

PAYMENT INFORMATION:

The total cost for the HAMCRAM instructional course and administration of the FCC Amateur Radio Exam for the Technician-class license is $50.

This amount is calculated as follows:

1. HAMCRAM instructional course and Q&A = $35

2. FCC Amateur Radio Exam (Element 2) administration and grading per ARRL VE rules = $15

TOTAL NOW IS $50 AND THEN $35 LATER DIRECTLY TO THE FCC TO ISSUE LICENSE

This amount is non-refundable, unless the event is canceled in advance by the New Jersey Emergency Communications Team.

Cancelation Policy Information:

Applicant will receive a full refund if the event is canceled by the organizer (HAMCRAM/New Jersey Emergency Communications Team)

Applicant will NOT receive a refund if the applicant withdraws or cancels prior to the event; however, the application fee will be applied to a future class if requested by the applicant.
