National President Elect Nomination Form

To be considered for President-Elect, an Executive Committee volunteer position on the AMFP National Board of Directors, please complete the following.
The President-Elect prepares to assume the presidency while supporting current leadership initiatives. The President-elect’s term is one year.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Preside at all meetings of the members, Board of Directors, and Executive
- Committee in the absence of the President
- Serve as parliamentarian for the Board of Directors following Roberts Rules of Order
- Chair the Nominations and Elections Committee
- Serve as a member of the Finance Committee
- Prepare to assume the role of President through active learning and shadowing
- Develop goals and priorities for their upcoming presidential term in alignment with the strategic plan
- Support the President's initiatives and activities as requested
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and industry leaders
- Attend industry events and conferences as an Association representative
- Contribute to strategic planning and implementation efforts
- Lead special projects or initiatives as assigned by the President
- Work closely with the President to ensure leadership continuity
- Begin forming committee chair appointments for their presidential term
- Review and become familiar with organizational governance documents
- Assist in mentoring new Board members and committee chairs
- Assume the presidency if the President is unable to complete their term
