Help with Planting
Tree recipients are responsible for planting their trees using the directions provided on our website and the information that will be attached to each tree. Should you have physical limitations that might make it impossible or difficult to plant your trees you may indicate that you would like us to find volunteers to help you. We will do our best to match you up with a team of volunteers to help. Note that accepting the help of volunteers still requires you to prepare for digging by calling 811. You must also agree to hold volunteers harmless while on your property.
By requesting help to plant my tree(s), I understand that volunteers will be provided as available.
I will need help to plant my trees. I agree to hold Columbia Green and its volunteers harmless from any liability that may stem from this assistance.
Eligibility
Only residents of participating jurisdictions are eligible for trees through Beat the Heat. Check the link below for eligibility. We encourage you to apply even if your location is not currently eligible as it will give us a basis for requesting support from your local government.
